Kirk R. Riley 55, Hickman, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday (07/19/08) from cancer. Active with AA for 25 years. Enjoyed educational television; family gatherings; shopping; bicycling; and refinishing furniture.
Survived by: brother, Ray Riely, Lincoln; sister, Yvonne Riley, Hickman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Roxanne and Mel Luben, Pleasant Dale; Jackie and Gene Johnson, Beatrice; nephews, Justin Johnson, Hebron; Jarod Johnson, New York City; Chad White, Lincoln; Lonnie White, Seward; Ed Luben, Papillion; Rick Lalan, Boulder, Colo.; Russ Luben, Seattle; nieces, Kris Hess, Lincoln; Ashley Lalan, Fort Collins, Colo.; Natalie Luben, Valentine; Cindy Luben, Plattemouth; great-nephew, David Johnson, Hebron; great-nieces, Katherine White; and Sarah White, both of Lincoln; Heather Zimmerman, Tenn.; aunts, Mildred Stege, Hickman; Verna Riley, Kansas City, Kan.; and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Anna (Christiansen) Riley; brothers, Robert; and Eldon Riley; sister, Vivian Lalan; and granparents, Lawrence and Helena Christiansen.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday (07/22/08), Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, Hickman Chapel. Burial: Hickman Cemetery.
