Peter "Pete" Lodwig, 48, Lincoln, was suddenly taken home Thursday, March 8, 2007. Pete passed on as the result of a tragic accident in Palm Beach, Fla.

Pete loved riding his Harleys and spending time with his loving friend Robyn. He was also a stellar employee in his nearly 30 years of service at Molex. He received many awards for his accomplishments. Pete was involved with the AA program, where he was very proud of his 10-plus years of sobriety. Pete was also an active member of the Hog Club, a Harley owners group, where he was a perennial recipient of most miles ridden awards.

The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Ten men could each live 100 years and still not have half as much fun as Pete did in his short time with us.

Pete will surely live on in the memories of his beloved family and friends.
