Peter "Pete" Lodwig, 48, Lincoln, was suddenly taken home Thursday, March 8, 2007. Pete passed
on as the result of a tragic accident in Palm Beach, Fla.
Pete loved riding his Harleys and spending time with his
loving friend Robyn. He was also a stellar employee in his nearly 30 years of service at Molex. He received many awards for
his accomplishments. Pete was involved with the AA program, where he was very proud of his 10-plus years of sobriety. Pete
was also an active member of the Hog Club, a Harley owners group, where he was a perennial recipient of most miles ridden
The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Ten men could each live 100 years and still not have
half as much fun as Pete did in his short time with us.
Pete will surely live on in the memories of his beloved family
He is survived by: his parents, Jerry and Marie Lodwig, Lincoln; daughter, Lori, Lincoln; brother, Philip,
Lincoln; granddaughter, Lillian, Lincoln; nephew and wife, Jesse and Stacy Hoover; niece, Shayna; great-nephew, Phoenix Hoover;
special friend, Robyn Seldt, Lincoln; uncles and aunts, Bruce and Bev Beymer, Joe and Marilyn Votava, all from Lincoln, Danny
and Karilyn Luchsinge, California, Leorda Marxhausen, Minnesota, Reinhold and Dorris, Seward, Paul and Alice Marxhausen, Evelyn
Marxhausen, Charles and Ruth Kiecker, Naomi Budahn, all from Minnesota, Benjamin and Joanne Marxhausen, Lincoln; great-aunt
Joyce Druliner, Lincoln; a host of cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by: grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs.
Marxhausen, Eunice Lodwig; uncles.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Wyuka Funeral Home,
