Monsignor Charles Joseph Keenan:

Monsignor Charles Joseph Keenan, 93, faithful priest of the Lincoln diocese for the past 67 years, died July 9, 2010 in Lincoln. Son of Jeremiah and Nora Keenan of Kellogg, Minn. Member and past Chaplain of Calix Society, King's Men, and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.

Survived by his brother, Jerry and (Delilah dec.) Keenan of Mankato, Minn.; sister-in-law, Arlene Keenan (wife of the late Leo Keenan) of Woodbury, Minn; nephews and nieces, Charles Keenan, Nora Keenan and Patrick Parizek, Kate and Jeff Prazan, Anne Keenan, Eileen Keenan, Jeremiah Keenan, (Patty dec.) and Doug Johnson, Nora Keenan, Tom and Judy Keenan, Joe and Ann Keenan, Dave and Kathy Keenan, Teresa and Gerry Severson, Kevin and Nancy Keenan, Mike Keenan and Anne Trentin, Pat and Teri Keenan, Maureen and John Graf, Katie and Charles Zipprian, Kelley Keenan, Sally and Dave Perry and Patrick Pilla. He is preceded in death by infant brother, Michael Keenan; James and Carol Keenan of Omaha; Leo and Charlotte Keenan of Houston, Texas; Sr. Sarah Keenan of OSF, Rochester, Minn. and Mary Pasquale Pilla of St. Paul, Minn.

Mass of Christian Burial; 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Cathedral of the Risen Christ, 3500 Sheridan blvd. Officiant; The Most Reverend Fabian W. Bruskewitz D.D., S.T.D. Bishop of Lincoln.
